The Scoop: The newly launched matrimony app MatchMe was created for Indian singles in search of a compatible life partner. MatchMe aims to make matrimonial matchmaking an exclusive and romantic experience for elite Indian singles.

In 2015, the Indian company MatchMe set out to combine friendship and love into one matrimonial matchmaking service. Now, MatchMe has officially expanded into the digital world of dating apps. Indian singles hoping to find a spouse can download the new MatchMe app at the App Store.

“We are an exclusive boutique matrimonial service for well-established Indian individuals all across the globe who believe in the institution of marriage,” MatchMe’s founders, Tania Malhotra Sondhi and Mishi Mehta Sood, wrote on MatchMe.

The app has the personable and accessible quality of a matchmaking boutique, but allows members to control their own romantic journeys.

Developed for Indian singles around the world, the newly launched matrimonial matchmaking service-turned-app focuses on connecting people who are marriage material. Its global network of eligible singles ensures that there’s someone for everyone who seeks lifelong companionship.

MatchMe Analyzes the User’s Personality

MatchMe’s mission is to bring like-minded individuals together into one strong and compatible power couple. According to MatchMe, couples who are connected via the app should “share the same values, beliefs, and interests” on a fundamental level.

“We use our in-depth, personalized approach, alongside our inhouse technology and team, to understand your priorities and then use that information to match you with the right person,” according to MatchMe.

Only the most elite users are granted access to MatchMe and its exclusive network of Indian singles.

MatchMe promotes high-quality matches with its elite user base and exclusive invite-only policy. Access to the app is dependent on three factors: the user’s accomplishments, personality, and dedication to finding a match.

This app is specifically for people in search of a serious relationship, with the ultimate goal being a fulfilling, lifelong marriage. If a user’s priorities don’t match up with MatchMe’s mission, it may not be the right app for them.

An invitation to MatchMe’s community doesn’t ensure membership. Applicants must go through a video call screening process with the app’s founders, who look closely at the user’s physical and emotional assets as well as their motivations.

MatchMe’s array of personality tests help narrow down your romantic options.

MatchMe’s team analyzes the user’s personality by conducting psychometric testing. A combination of personality tests, including the Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, and Big 5 model, are used to make matches as compatible and personable as possible.

Psychometric tests generally assess a person’s behavioral patterns and cognition. This streamlines the matchmaking process and helps marriage-focused individuals skip the awkward “We have nothing in common” stage of dating.

By the time matches meet in person, they can rest assured that, at the very least, they are compatible on paper.

An Uber-Exclusive Network of Singles

The demand for exclusive apps with elite members is evident through similar high-profile apps like Raya and The League. People are seeking connections that are high-quality in terms of compatibility and lifestyle. Rest assured that on MatchMe, every member has the same ultimate goal: to marry someone they respect and can build a happy life with.

MatchMe is a good fit for you if you know what you want and have clear marriage goals.

Just like Raya and The League, exclusivity and discretion are paramount at MatchMe. “We take great pains to maintain client privacy,” according to MatchMe’s site. When clients aged 24-39 are accepted into the app, they have access to an exclusive community of elite singles.

Clients aged 40-60 can enjoy premium membership with a highly personalized approach. Premium members have access to a Personal MatchMe expert. There’s a one-time enrollment fee for premium members. When successful matches get married, they pay a success fee.

MatchMe is a boutique matrimonial matchmaking service for people who know what they want and are ready to commit. But if a member is struggling with the idea of marriage, MatchMe offers resources to help them clarify their desires, express their needs, and embrace finding a life partner.

“Our team seeks to celebrate your individuality while connecting you with one who celebrates theirs,” according to MatchMe.

MatchMe’s curated network of elite singles receive new matches every week.

Members can take advantage of MatchMe’s curated network of singles by looking through profiles. It’s up to each member to decide who they contact and/or date. “Many wonder and fail to understand the reason for not meeting ‘the one’ for them. The curated services that we provide help solve that,” MatchMe’s website claims. Its curated network of singles helps members find someone who matches their needs.

A diverse collection of curated matches are shared with members each week. “The matches you receive are essentially the ones that fit your criteria and needs, and are not just from a pool of profiles,” according to the site. Members will only match up with people who fit their specific criteria.

Non-Traditional Indian Singles, Unite

A traditional matchmaking approach doesn’t work for everyone. MatchMe’s website explained how the process of matchmaking for marriage can be “stressful, and filled with doubt and apprehensions.” After all, finding a life partner is often a family affair in Indian culture.

Concerned parents are something Malhotra Sondhi and Mehta Sood know how to handle. “Here, we serve as a medium to know the prospective match for you personally,” the founders wrote on MatchMe. “[We] understand the family character and lifestyle and proceed with our search and scanning process to get you the right match.”

The app’s founders know that many Indian couples must have compatible families, too.

Since MatchMe’s primary demographic is Indian singles seeking successful marriages, the app aims to make the entire process simpler for all involved, from the app’s user to their future spouse to the families on either side.

One of MatchMe’s former clients, Ankur Mehta, said as such in his review. “Mishi helped me find my life partner and I couldn’t have asked for more!” he wrote. “My wife is indeed the best thing to have happened to me. Both sides of our families have similar backgrounds and similar stories to share.”

The people behind MatchMe understand that life doesn’t always follow a predictable path. If a MatchMe member has gone through divorce or a significant life change, the app can take their situation into account when it filters through their matches. Regardless of age, there’s no wrong time to focus on romantic happiness. “We help you overcome your hesitations and position matches in a way to assure the right match for you,” the site says.

Counselors at MatchMe can help singles understand what they want and need from a relationship.

MatchMe is a good fit for people who want to get married but also want to take the relationship slowly. It believes that the best marriages are those built upon mutual trust and respect, which is only achieved when partners are on the same page. MatchMe provides counseling and support to help members remain focused and optimistic throughout the matching and dating process.

Everyone approaches MatchMe with different expectations. Some people simply want to find a husband or wife, while others want to take their time to get to know a life partner. Others, still, are hesitant about marriage, and need some time to learn about what would be expected of them as a spouse.

Wherever the app’s members fall on this spectrum, MatchMe’s counseling services can help. “These sessions are there to help give better insight to an individual, to understand their respective needs, and increase one’s readiness to find a suitable life partner,” according to MatchMe.
