The Scoop: Successful professionals may be confident and present themselves well on dates, but they often struggle to find the time to meet others. The BEVY is a bespoke matchmaking agency that works closely with elite singles to find compatible matches while providing a high level of privacy. The firm’s success rate is around 95%, and clients frequently call to thank The BEVY for helping them find the right partner.
In the modern dating world, time is a luxury that many career-minded singles don’t have. Many elite professionals can’t afford to play the numbers game to find the right partner. Instead, they want a focused, efficient option that matches their lifestyle.
One reason it may take so long to find someone compatible is that many potential partners aren’t entirely truthful in their online profiles. The dishonesty ranges from someone lying about their height to scammers trying to lure someone into a relationship.
One study showed that nearly 30% of respondents who used dating sites said they had been catfished or scammed by someone pretending to be a single person looking for love.
The BEVY, a bespoke matchmaking agency, offers its services to elite clients who don’t have time to deal with those online dating issues.

The BEVY offers personalized matchmaking services for elite clients in major U.S. cities.
“It’s not a dating service, but a focused matchmaking agency where we hope to hit it out of the park — even on the first try,” said Nikki Lewis, the Co-Founder of The BEVY.
The BEVY has a presence in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami. Its small team of matchmaking professionals works directly with clients to connect them with the partners of their dreams.
The team is selective about the singles it works with. And The BEVY treats each member as a cherished friend, helping them find happiness through love.
“We work closely with the best people,” Nikki said. “That’s something that makes us stand out a little bit.”
Developed From Its Founders’ Strong Social Network
The BEVY was started by Nikki and Greta Tufvesson, although neither of them dreamed of becoming matchmakers. In 2009, Greta attended a dinner party that changed everything.
At the time, she was working in public relations and marketing for well-respected fashion brands when she found herself in a conversation with a man who had tried out a few matchmakers in New York City. None of them had the sophistication and the social graces that Greta had. According to Nikki, Greta can’t walk a block without running into good friends.
When the friend wondered why the other matchmakers couldn’t set him up with someone like her, Nikki said Greta decided to break into the industry. She had a long list of fabulous, single friends who were hesitant to go online. And Nikki said Greta thought she could connect them with other successful, professional singles.
Of course, the elite crowd of New York had yet to warm to the idea of matchmaking. That’s why Greta called Nikki. The pair formed The BEVY and learned the ins and outs of the matchmaking industry together.
“We learned about the dating industry, the right and wrong ways to do this,” she said. “We are comfortable that, after 11 years, we’re still really successfully doing it the way we like to do it.”
They also hired Katie Lloyd, who focuses on Business Development in New York and Los Angeles, and Jackie Korey, who is the Projects Manager. The team is small, but mighty — and so is The BEVY’s client list.
Privacy is Paramount to the Firm and Its Clients
Clients can always expect the highest level of privacy when working with The BEVY. No last names, photos, or business information is shared with potential matches until they are thoroughly vetted.
“There’s a reason not a lot of our clients are comfortable dating online. Maybe it’s their careers, who they are, or they don’t want to run into an ex,” she said. “There’s something special about doing this in a discreet manner. Privacy these days is the ultimate luxury, so it’s different for our clients.”
Men pay a fee to work with the bespoke agency, but women can sign up for free. However, not every person can earn representation with The BEVY. Nikki said the agency only takes clients who have a personal chemistry with its matchmakers.

The BEVY Co-Founders Greta Tufvesson, left, and Nikki Lewis help elite singles find love.
“Would we invite them home for dinner, and would our clients like them? That’s what we always like to ask,” she said. “We’re incredibly professional and also become close with our clients. The best call they’ll get is from us is saying, ‘I’ve found your future wife.’”
Nikki said she loves that she can share with her clients how she knows the person she wants to set them up with. Those close client connections help The BEVY instill confidence through honest, well-honed references.
As a result, its matching success rate is incredibly high — upward of 95%.
“We knock it out of the park, and that’s why we keep doing it the way we do it. We put a lot of thought into each introduction,” Nikki said.
The BEVY: Producing Long-Term Matches
Nikki said she receives calls from clients who want to thank her for finding them a great match. One woman called to tell her that the man Nikki had introduced her to was so wonderful that they’re planning their wedding.
Another client, a man, told Nikki that things were going so well, he and his match were making plans to visit St. Maarten and then travel to Africa to work on his foundation together.
“He was blown out of the water. He was surprised how the chemistry was there to back up everything he wanted in a woman,” Nikki said. “It’s remarkable and not easy to find in the real world. Sometimes you feel like you’re fitting a square peg into a round hole. When you work with us, we can hone in on what’s important.”
Nikki said her job as a matchmaker is incredibly rewarding. She even told us she keeps a notepad by her bed because she often wakes up at night thinking about who would be a good match for one of her clients.
The team has recently expanded its reach to Miami, Florida, where many New York clients have moved — either full time or part time. Meanwhile, the company is continuing to keep a presence on both the East and West coasts of the United States.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team found that clients were willing to approach the experience with more of an open heart than they might have in the past..
“I had a client who pumped the brakes and circled back to someone I matched him with even before COVID-19,” Nikki said. “He had lost sight of what was right in front of him. This particular time can make you think about what’s important.”
