“I was doing it in my personal life for fun. I had a dream to be a matchmaker,” said Ali.
After about five years, Ali decided to become a professional matchmaker. At first, she wanted to work for an established matchmaking service, but she quickly recognized the benefits of being independent.
“It seemed like a better plan to start my own thing. It started as a hobby to bring people together and quickly turned into a full-time business,” she said.
Ali’s service became so popular that by 2015, she invited her husband to join her as a matchmaker. Together, they interview singles and pair up individuals that have a lot in common. The business has become a full-time job for Matt as well.

“You are constantly being sent on dates. You may meet 10 people or one person. We’re only going to contact you if and when we have a strong potential match, and you mutually fit what one another is looking for,” Ali told us.

Despite the hard work they put in for their clients, the Migliores said they never feel burdened by their business.
“It doesn’t feel like work. I always wanted to do something impactful and meaningful. I love love. It definitely fills my cup. Curing loneliness one person at a time is a special thing to be part of,” Ali told us.
