The Scoop: Love and Matchmaking is an elite matchmaking and dating coaching business with a lot of heart behind it. Married couple Destin Pfaff and Rachel Federoff understand the challenges facing modern daters, and they started their own boutique matchmaking firm to make love accessible to busy professionals throughout the country. Today, Love and Matchmaking has adopted an efficient matching process that has a 95% success rate and has led to countless relationships.

The online dating scene has given singles a world of date options. However, it takes a while to narrow that broad dating pool to the most compatible and authentic few. Busy singles often don’t have the time or patience to throw themselves into the swiping carousel, so they seek more personalized and stress-free alternatives — such as a matchmaker.

One single woman applied to Love and Matchmaking when she was ready to settle down but didn’t want to settle. She told matchmakers Destin Pfaff and Rachel Federoff that she was having difficulty finding someone who met her standards in the Midwest and wanted to expand her search by using their resources.

Since 2011, Love and Matchmaking has been a guiding light for singles in search of love and happiness.

She was a powerhouse executive with a unique sense of style, and the matchmakers knew finding exactly the right person for her would be a challenge — but they were up for trying.

This woman knew what she wanted, and it became Destin and Rachel’s job to find it for her. After weeks and weeks of vetting dates, the matchmakers eventually found a few promising candidates and arranged introductions. Although the first match didn’t pan out, the second match did the trick! The woman wrapped up her service with Love and Matchmaking in the relationship she wanted.

Love and Matchmaking has the experience and connections to help singles find the perfect match, and its work has been life-changing and love-affirming for singles of all stripes.

In addition to being highly skilled and sought-after matchmakers, Destin and Rachel are ordained ministers, so they can literally be there for couples from the first date to the moment they say “I do.” These matchmakers are hands-on helpers, and their practical assistance and emotional support has done a world of good in the dating scene.

“We like to call ourselves a one-stop love shop,” Rachel said. “We actually walk the walk and talk the talk because we’re married with kids, and we know how important it is to find your soul mate and get it right.”

The Intuitive Team Excels at Finding That Perfect Match

Love and Matchmaking is a friend and ally to relationship-minded singles of all ages, backgrounds, and orientations. The matchmaking company appeals particularly to busy professionals — doctors, lawyers, CEOs, etc. — who want to outsource the search for love and save themselves some time in the dating scene.

Head Matchmaker and Chief Operating Officer Mallory Love has spent nearly 10 years in the dating industry, and her love insights are indispensable to the team.

Destin, Rachel, and Mallory take the time to get to know their clients and understand where they’re coming from and where they want to go. Their dating consultations are akin to therapy sessions because they dig into the person’s psyche, preferences, habits, and biases to get to the root of who they are.

“Finding a match isn’t just about height, age, and location,” Rachel explained. “We’re dealing with a million and one different factors.”

Love and Matchmaking promises to end the swiping and get straight to the matching.

Love and Matchmaking takes a quality over quantity approach to the matchmaking process. They won’t just pair singles together willy-nilly to see what sticks. They’ll carefully discuss and debate each match, and only make the introduction if they’re confident it could turn into a relationship.

“You can’t just focus on database dating,” Destin said. “You have to put the work in. We think outside the box and actually do the scouting work to help people.”

When it comes to love, Destin and Rachel have cracked the code time and time again. They have found the secret to a happy relationship in their own lives, and they’re more than willing to pass on what they’ve learned to their clients in dating coaching sessions or online profile consultations.

Looking to the future, Destin told us they plan to share their love insights by going on speaking tours, writing self-help books, and even developing a new dating site. Love and Matchmaking is all about bringing the human element back into the dating world, and the team constantly comes up with innovative ways to catch and hold people’s attention.

“To do what we do, you have to have a strong foundation,” Destin said. “We micromanage and overthink everything, but without our team behind us, we’d fail.”

Destin & Rachel are Experienced Headhunters for Love

Destin and Rachel are the epitome of a power couple in the dating industry. They have combined business acumen and analytical thinking with emotional intelligence and human intuition, and that has turned into a destined-for-success matchmaking firm.

Destin and Rachel are entrepreneurs, performers, filmmakers, philanthropists, and matchmakers.

When he started his career, Destin never expected to work in the dating industry. He focused on helping small businesses grow. One of his clients was an up-and-coming matchmaker named Patti Stranger. Destin was working with Patti in 2008 when she became the star of the reality TV sensation “The Millionaire Matchmaker.”

While working with Patti on the television show, Destin found his calling in life, and he found his soul mate as well. He said Rachel is the yin to his yang. While Destin considers himself more business-minded and goal-oriented, Rachel is more intuitive and heart-driven.

Rachel’s background is in psychology, and she says she has always been a “people person.” She comes from a family of helpers, listeners, and lovers. Her compassionate and friendly mindset made her a natural matchmaker, and she soon wanted to branch out with her own company.

In 2011, Destin and Rachel tied the knot and launched LoveAndMatchmaking.com, becoming life partners and business partners in one fell swoop. Today, they are among the most successful matchmakers in the U.S.

“It’s all about understanding people,” Destin told us. “If you can understand people and have resources to help them, it’s a slam dunk.”

Customers Give the Company a 95% Success Rate

Destin and Rachel share a passion for matchmaking, and they know how to get it right. They firmly believe that everyone deserves love, and their goal is to make dynamic matchmaking services available to singles from all walks of life.

Rachel said they try very hard not to turn people away. Their policy is to accept anyone who shows a genuine desire to fall in love and be in a stable relationship. “We’re kind of crazy because we really take on some challenging cases,” she said. “The challenges flock to us, but they’re the most satisfying to solve.”

The team puts a lot of time and effort into every match.

Love and Matchmaking boasts a 95% success rate — based on a client satisfaction survey — and the team has received many thank-you notes, wedding announcements, and testimonials from happy former clients.

“Frankly, I wish I could use them in all the other aspects of my life,” said a client named Gabrielle. “I may not be the most romantic person, but they have given me the chance to feel like I am.”

Anne had been looking for a relationship for years, and she found it within eight months of working with Love and Matchmaking. “I started seeing someone I like a lot,” she said. “It’s going strong and I couldn’t have done it without their help. Sometimes you just have to wait and to trust things will come.”

“I don’t know how they found him,” said Kim, who fell in love thanks to Destin and Rachel’s introduction. “I don’t know how they work, but I do know that they do work.”

“We’re lucky,” Destin said. “We get to make a living by helping people and getting satisfaction out of it. Being able to have that conquering satisfaction is going to keep us young.”

Love and Matchmaking Can Help You Date Smarter

When singles have exhausted their options — or are just plain exhausted — Love and Matchmaking can provide hands-on assistance and knowledgeable insights to get them moving in the right direction. As elite matchmakers, Destin, Rachel, and Mallory have decades of experience in the dating industry, and their combined talents have brought hundreds of couples together.

Throughout the dating experience, the team encourages singles to be bold, be hopeful, and be unapologetically themselves.

“Give someone a chance, and give yourself a chance,” Destin said. “You have to try. You’re never going to know unless you try something.”
