The Scoop: Emyli Lovz understands that single men often struggle to find compatible women online. They may experience difficulty in not only standing out on dating sites but also impressing the women they meet for dates. That’s why Emyli offers a comprehensive, one-on-one dating coaching program through her website emlovz.com. She developed the program after going on 101 dates with more than 50 men, and it helps men overcome challenges and build romantic relationships. Emyli’s coaching also empowers singles with the tools they need to create healthy long-term relationships.
One contributing factor in the plunging divorce rates in the U.S. is that singles are becoming more selective about who they’ll marry. Many singles seek high-achieving partners who can sweep them off their feet — a high bar for anyone to reach.
Those expectations can be particularly challenging for men, as many of them struggle to find partners online.
“Men hire me because they can’t get women to respond on dating sites and apps, let alone get dates with the women they actually want,” said Emyli Lovz, the Founder of emlovz.com. As a dating coach, Emyli works with men to face those difficulties in finding compatible partners.
Emyli is passionate about helping clients build healthy relationships because she believes that many people simply don’t know how. Singles often model their own romantic relationships on what they saw at home from their parents, grandparents, and other relatives. If those relationships are dysfunctional — like the relationship between Emyli’s parents — they may lack the skills to develop lasting partnerships.
“You learn about love from what you saw at home, and, unlike reading and math, relationships — especially romantic ones — weren’t taught in schools to make up the gap,” Emyli said.
Emyli provides men with the tools they need to find, develop, and maintain better relationships. She meets regularly with clients via Skype and offers a three-month coaching program that helps them build consistency. She also offers in-person coaching sessions for San Francisco locals in her Embarcadero office.
Through the Signature Program, she offers advice about how men can stand out on dating platforms, strategies for first, second, and third dates, and how to develop meaningful — not mediocre — connections.
Developing a Dating System From Personal Experience
Emyli didn’t always know what made some men more successful daters. But in 2012, she decided to find out. Over the course of the year, she went on 101 dates with 52 men. From that experiment, she recognized what made some more skilled than others in interacting with women online — and wooing them in person.
She then took this knowledge to develop the foundation for her Signature Program.
The foundation of this program is MegaDating, a system in which she encourages men to court many women at once.
“MegaDating is the process of dating multiple women at the same time to diffuse energy and increase confidence,” Emyli said.
The Signature Program also takes men through some of the common pitfalls that arise in dating situations. Topics include strategies for interacting with women online, ideas for planning memorable dates, and thoughts about having meaningful conversations.
Emyli recognizes how important it is to plan a memorable date. In an article called “Should I Take Her to Coffee on the First Date?” Emyli suggests how a coffee shop could be the perfect first date spot — but not just any coffee shop.
“A cute, one-of-a-kind place that serves a great cup of java can turn an ordinary first date into an epic one. A place like Chicago’s The Wormhole Coffee, decorated in hilarious movie props from the 1980s, is a great example,” she wrote in the blog post.
After the third date, Emyli’s advice turns to strategies for building long-term relationships. In an article titled “She Thinks Things Are Moving Too Fast. What Should I Do?” Emyli describes what women might do if they want to slow the progress of a relationship.
When men see those behaviors, they won’t be caught off guard.
Clients Learn Through a 12-Week Signature Program
When a single man signs up for coaching with Emyli, he starts by creating the profile of an ideal girlfriend. Men also outline what they appreciated — and what they didn’t like so much — about their previous relationships.
Next, Emyli discusses how to date — both online and in person. In sessions three through eight, she works with clients on their dating profiles and considers the types of messages they send to women online. Together, they’ll message women in ways that help the men stand out from the crowd.
In sessions nine and 10, Emyli and her clients focus on creating memorable first, second, and third dates, with Emyli providing access to her date blueprints. These give men a template for what should happen on a fun, meaningful date.
The final two sessions are the selection phase. Clients should have had multiple dates by then, so they can start eliminating women who don’t fit their ideal type and creating romantic dates for the women they want to continue seeing.
By the end of the 12 weeks, men should either be in the early stages of a relationship or, as Emyli says, “fully engulfed in my MegaDating strategy.”
Those tools and strategies are often vital for men who struggle with dating.
“Raw, undeveloped talent often fails to deliver positive outcomes. It’s like having a tool in your tool belt that could do the job, but you don’t know how to operate it. Dating coaching is very similar,” Emyli said.
Emyli Lovz: Aiming to Diminish Loneliness in 2020
Emyli has already helped many men find relationships with their dream women, and it’s that track record of success that motivates her to keep improving her Signature Program.
“I had the best Christmas because I got three different messages from clients, all telling me they’d found a special girl and were so happy. Knowing they didn’t have to spend the holidays alone was the best Christmas present anyone could have ever given me,” she told us.
Though many men have found success using her program, Emyli isn’t one to rest on her laurels. Instead, she has plans to update her program in 2020. One of the most significant changes will be adding group coaching programs to her one-on-one services.
The idea is that people can learn from one another, as well as from the emlovz team. The most significant benefit is that men can apply what they learn more quickly. For example, participants can run mock dates with women during the group sessions to get the firsthand experience and see what works well for other men in the program.
“I’m a big application-style learner, and I want my clients to really embody what they learn,” Emyli said.
Emyli is excited to keep refining the program because her work helps reduce the amount of loneliness and failed relationships she sees in the world.
“It’s the best feeling in the world to hear that a client found a girlfriend, got engaged, or even married someone. That’s why we do this work. I love seeing people transform their lives and get what they want in love,” she said.
