The Scoop: Redwood Art Group has gotten the art world’s attention by connecting artists, galleries, and art lovers at events across the country. Its art exhibitions have been delighting and inspiring people for over 40 years. And the best part is that all the artwork on display is for sale, and the artists show up to talk about their work with event attendees. Coming December 1, the Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami art fairs will offer local singles and couples the chance to expand their horizons and maybe buy a piece of art on a memorable date night.
Art isn’t just something you look at — it’s something you experience. The artist’s use of color may tap into certain emotions, or the images may stir up old memories. A beautiful painting can send people on a thoughtful journey, and sometimes they may even see a bit of themselves in the work.
The experience of viewing artwork can mean a lot more when art lovers can actually meet with and talk to the artist. That’s why the art fairs hosted by Redwood Art Group have become so popular.
You don’t need a master’s degree in painting to appreciate the works on display. Anyone can purchase a ticket to the event and network with people in the art community. They can ask questions of local artists or provide feedback to gallery owners. Attendees can even purchase their favorite works of art at the fairs.

By offering gallery artworks for sale, the Redwood Art Group allows people to bring a world of ideas, feelings, and memories home with them.
“Where else can you meet the artists and gallery owners as you’re viewing their work?” the website asks. “That’s what makes attending a Redwood Art Group fair such a rich experience.”
This December, Redwood Art Group is bringing its long-standing tradition of art and storytelling to Miami. Its Florida art fairs include Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami, both of which will run from December 1-5, 2021.
Couples can attend these art fairs on a date to enjoy a bit of culture and stimulate their minds. They may even want to purchase some artwork as a souvenir or a gift for a loved one.
The Eye-Catching Event Starts on December 1
In celebration of Miami Art Week, Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami will both take place at the same time at the same venue. The Mana Wynwood Convention Center is located in a bustling part of town with a lot of nearby art galleries and local restaurants, so couples can make a day of their excursion.
Red Dot Miami will showcase site-specific installations and paintings curated from its network of over 500 contemporary artists. Spectrum will draw from its network of 150 artists and exhibit works that are sure to attract art aficionados. The event space will offer beverages provided by Buzzballz, Topo Chico, and Perrier.
The art fairs will run from Thursday to Friday from noon until 8 p.m., and on Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. It’s recommended that visitors buy advance tickets online to secure a spot and save a little money.

Advance online tickets cost $75 for a five-day pass and $25 for general one-day admission. If you’re buying tickets at the door, it’s a little pricier — $100 for the five-day pass and $35 general one-day admission.
Students, seniors, and military personnel can purchase discounted event tickets starting at $20. Children under 12 can enter for free as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.
If you buy tickets online, you’ll get an email confirmation with a PDF file containing the ticket(s). You can print out the page or present it on your smartphone at the door to gain entry.
Art aficionados may want to splurge a little on their date and attend the opening night preview party on December 1. The three-hour event begins at 6 p.m. and includes a first look at the artwork and a networking atmosphere with music and wine. Advanced tickets for that event cost $50, and guests will pay $75 at the door.
“There is so much to see and do,” said Linda Mariano, Managing Director of Marketing for the Redwood Art Group. “If you love art, it’s the place to be! Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami combine to feature more than 200 exhibitors, representing over 1,000 artists from around the world. You’ll see work from emerging artists, well-established galleries, and industry icons alike.”
Rest Assured COVID Precautions Are Being Taken
This year, Miami Art Week offers up-and-coming artists, established galleries, and local art lovers a chance to come together and celebrate the things they’re passionate about. This kind of event takes a lot of coordinating to pull off, and the Red Dot and Spectrum event organizers are committed to ensuring the health and safety of participants.
“All health and safety guidelines will be strictly followed,” the Redwood Art Group team assured us. “We’re following the City of Miami’s COVID-19 Event Guidelines requiring all individuals entering a venue must wear a well-fitted face mask at all times and undergo a health check and screening each day before entry.”

The art fair will offer a contactless queue and check-in process complete with ticketing pre-registration and timed entry. Daily health checks will be required for entry.
Additionally, all staff members, exhibitors, artists, and attendees must wear masks at all times at the event as it is held indoors. Social distancing will be highly encouraged as well.
One more COVID-related rule guests should be aware of is the ban on large bags or backpacks. Items bigger than a handbag or laptop bag will not be allowed inside. This will hopefully allow for more space for people.
Couples on a date will be able to view artwork safely at the art fairs because of all the careful and thoughtful preparations that have been made by the Redwood Art Group.
If anyone exhibits COVID-19 symptoms or runs a temperature over 100.4°F, that person will be denied access to the art fair.
The team asks that guests respect the rules and act with their best judgment throughout the event. As Linda said, “We are all in this together!”
