The Scoop: Elizabeth Sullivan is a qualified dating, relationship, and career coach in the UK. She has studied hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming in her professional life, and she has seen her parents stay happily married for decades in her personal life. She became known as the Love Mentor because of her innate ability to inspire, encourage, and advise single women who are looking for a serious relationship. Since she started her private business, Elizabeth has seen her clients gain confidence in themselves and attract a great partner. She’s responsible for at least 9 marriages, five engagements, six committed relationships, and seven babies so far, but she wants to do more. So Elizabeth is designing an online course to share her techniques and tips with smart women around the world.
Your relationship should be a safe place where you go to find happiness. When it’s not, that can be an incredibly painful situation. It’s like losing your home. Where do you go for comfort and relief?

Elizabeth Sullivan coaches women through personal and professional difficulties.
One married woman went to dating coach Elizabeth Sullivan, also known as the Love Mentor, for advice. The woman’s marriage was falling apart. Her husband was working long hours — sometimes until midnight — and she felt rejected when he didn’t come home to spend time with her. They were on the brink of divorce, but Elizabeth saw a relationship worth saving.
She helped the married woman shift her perspective on the situation and realize that her husband’s work schedule was a symptom of his introverted and diligent personality type. It wasn’t a judgment on her or a rejection of their life together. They had different expectations and different needs, but they could work it out by learning to communicate clearly and understand one another on another level.
Now the husband makes more of an effort to come home to have dinner with his wife, and they’re much happier. Elizabeth said success stories like that one are the reason she started a career as a professional dating, relationship, and career coach.
Elizabeth’s nonjudgmental coaching style has led many singles and couples to have breakthroughs that change how they see the world and how they tackle their problems.
“I love it when my client is really happy,” she said. “You can see the happiness shining out of them. I’m in this industry because I want to see people happily in love.”
Expanding From One-on-One to Online Work
One-on-one work has been Elizabeth’s primary focus since she launched Love Mentor. Every coaching session is tailored to the client’s individual needs. This approach is effective, but it’s also time-consuming for the dating and career coach. Elizabeth said she’s interested in maximizing her time and increasing her impact on singles’ lives, so she has begun developing online programs to supplement her coaching business.
Her upcoming Be a Magnet to a Man program will be a kickstarter that teaches single women how to attract quality men and build a relationship that lasts. Elizabeth draws from lessons she learned from her parents, who have been happily married for over 55 years, to advise singles looking for a happily ever after.
She said her three-week program will condense the takeaways of her coaching sessions and help women find what they’re looking for in the dating scene. The program will include webinars that walk participants through everything they need to know to become more confident and capable daters.
“It’s about having a great life and meeting men at the same time,” Elizabeth said.

By launching online programs, Elizabeth can reach more women with her empowering message.
Elizabeth’s focus on internal work versus external actions prompts women to examine themselves with a critical eye and make sure they’re emotionally and mentally ready to embark on a real relationship. The Be a Magnet to a Man program will be ready to launch in October, and Elizabeth plans to develop more online courses to further support singles around the world.
A Facebook support group will also be provided in the online program. Elizabeth wants to provide extra mentoring through it and also empower singles to encourage one another in a private online community where they can show solidarity through dating’s ups and downs throughout the program.
“People get a lot out of it,” she said. “They can hear from others who have the same problems they do, and that helps them know it’s not just them and they’re not alone.”
More 20-Somethings Have Started Seeking Her Guidance
Elizabeth works with single women who range in age from their 20s to their 60s. She said her typical client is intelligent, career-driven, and ready to find love. All they need is the tools and skill sets to get there.

Over the years, Elizabeth has seen many clients work on their issues, gain self-confidence, and meet the person they were meant to be with.
In the last few months, Elizabeth has noticed more young women coming to her to nip their dating problems in the bud. Women in their 20s are often just starting to think about making a commitment and launching a career so it’s a critical time for them — and that makes it the perfect time for a professional coach to get involved.
Elizabeth said she’s always pleased to see a young woman take an interest in personal development because it’s easier for them to change their dating patterns.
“It’s great to make a change at any age, but it’s really smart to sort it out early on,” she told us. “It’s like any problem — if you have a broken leg, why don’t you get it dealt with straight away?”
Whatever the age of her clients, Elizabeth does all she can to help them avoid common mistakes, build self-esteem, and set themselves up for success in love and life.
Proudly Tallying Up Every Engagement, Wedding & Baby
Elizabeth likes to keep in touch with her former clients because it’s gratifying to watch them grow their families and find the place where they belong.
As she collects testimonials for her site, Elizabeth has kept count of the wedding announcements and invitations sent by former clients. She told us she attended wedding number nine last June, and she knows of two more weddings coming up in the fall so her total will be 11 by this September. She said five of her former clients are currently engaged and six are cohabiting with a significant other.
As her more and more of her clients get married, Elizabeth has also started to make note of how many babies have resulted from their unions. So far, she knows of seven babies who exist in the world, in part, because of her work as a dating coach.
“The belief-changing work we did together has made an enormous difference in my life.” — Melita Long, career coach
“My life changed when I found Elizabeth,” said Veronika K., a lawyer who sought relationship and career coaching from Elizabeth. “I understood that my private and professional life are so interconnected that I cannot expect to make progress in one without adjusting the other,” she said. “Luckily, Elizabeth can help me in both.”
Caroline met her match on New Year’s Eve and thanked Elizabeth for giving her the confidence to pursue the romantic possibilities around her. “I feel much more confident, joyful, and open to finding a man,” she wrote. “I’ve had a few dates as I’m more approachable and optimistic.” All that optimism paid off because Caroline got engaged in August 2016.
Every time she hears of another engagement or pregnancy, Elizabeth’s heart soars. It puts into perspective for her why she got into dating coaching in the first place and everything she hopes to accomplish in the dating scene.
“The outlook for the dating industry is fantastic because it’s a growth industry,” she said. “Five years ago when I started it was hard, now there a lot more people searching for dating and relationship coaching and becoming clients. It’s become a lot more acceptable to get relationship help which is great.”
Elizabeth Changes Lives by Changing Perspectives
Whether she’s encouraging someone to ask for a raise or ask an online crush out, Elizabeth’s calm words of wisdom point people down the right path for them. Her natural ability to empathize and instruct has helped her establish her reputation as the Love Mentor in the UK.
Elizabeth offers her services as a personal dating coach, relationship coach, and career coach, but now she is planning to grow her influence by maintaining online programs that offer her advice in a format that’s more accessible and convenient for her audience. She said her programs will enable her to change many more lives than she could through one-on-one coaching.
Her comprehensive approach to coaching has the potential to impact multiple areas of a single person’s life. “When you have a great relationship, it’s a foundation for a great life,” she said. “Once you have your love life sorted, you have more energy for everything else. People are often more successful in their career with a supportive partner so they have that fulfilment as well as someone to have a wonderful life with”
