Finley, owner of Bayville Scream Park. “It usually involves the couple embracing tightly because either or both are scared and need the protection or reassurance of the other.”

Haunted houses may not seem like ideal dating spots at first glance, but it’s a great opportunity for couples to go on an adventure and face their fears together. New Drive-in Haunted Houses Facilitate Social Distancing

Bayville Scream Park has made a name for itself as a scary place to come together with friends, family, and significant others, and that will not change in 2020. However, the theme park has implemented COVID-19 safety measures to give visitors greater peace of mind during the pandemic.

For one thing, all visitors and staff members must wear face coverings — yes, a scary mask counts — while on the property. Bayville Scream Park will also limit its capacity to ensure people can keep their distance from each other.

Most notably, Bayville Scream Park is adding a drive-in haunted house experience in 2020. Visitors will stay in their car the entire time, keeping a safe distance from the scary action. The live horror show is expected to be popular among safety-conscious thrill seekers in the area.
