The Scoop: Instant Chemistry has developed advanced psychological and genetic testing methods to assess relationship compatibility. Couples can submit their DNA sample via a saliva swab kit and receive a comprehensive breakdown of their sexual chemistry, neurological compatibility, and other personalized insights based on scientific research. The Instant Chemistry lab is a knowledgeable source of information regarding innate relationship compatibility. It has the data to answer important questions about love and put a romantic relationship to the test.

The experience of falling in love is different for everyone. Some couples say it happened quickly, as in love at first sight. Other couples go through more of a slow burn, starting out as friends and developing romantic feelings over time.

No matter how it occurs, many couples look back on their love story and describe it as meant to be. And perhaps it was. Some scientific research suggests the secrets of love may be explained by looking at a couple’s genetic code.

The scientists and relationship experts at Instant Chemistry have used a combination of genetic testing and psychological assessments to offer a scientific explanation for why a love story unfolds.

Instant Chemistry is a biotechnology company that researches the science of attraction.

Instant Chemistry launched in 2012 on a mission to measure relationship compatibility through genetic testing. Its patented Relationship Kit has helped couples better understand the psychological, neurological, and genetic factors at play in their connection.

Sara Seabrooke, the Chief Science Officer at Instant Chemistry, told us the company recently expanded its testing options to accommodate couples who are curious about the different dynamics of relationship compatibility.

“If people want to just learn about their psychological compatibility and neurocompatibility, they can do that,” Sara said. “The feedback has been positive with client’s utilizing the different options to suit their needs.”

The Instant Chemistry lab analyzes DNA and creates personalized reports that can bring clarity to couples in relationships. It’s a fun way to learn about the inner workings of a romantic connection. Plus, Instant Chemistry has a gift card option for people who are looking for a unique birthday or anniversary gift.

The Complete Relationship Kit for Couples

Instant Chemistry takes a saliva sample from customers and uses their genetic information to measure relationship compatibility according to scientific and psychological principles.

The Complete Relationship Kit delivers personalized reports that assesses a couple’s biocompatibility, neurocompatibility, and psychocompatibility. The informative charts and write-ups can help couples understand what’s going on beneath the surface and how they can improve and strengthen their romantic connection.

The Relationship Kit offers a comprehensive analysis of personal compatibility.

“There has been more interest in Instant Chemistry and using genetics to look at relationship compatibility,” Sara told us. “I think there is an overall growing interest in using genetics to gain a deeper understanding of relationships.”

In the last year, Instant Chemistry has expanded its testing options to meet the needs of people with different interests. Now instead of going all in with the Relationship Kit, customers can choose to get the more budget-friendly options.

The Psychological Assessment costs $59 and provides a psychological evaluation based on a 24-question quiz. The package does not include gene analysis, but it does offer The Love Manual ebook, which explains the underlying factors of long-term compatibility.

The Neurocompatibility and Psychological Assessment is another option that can offer important insights without the full relationship breakdown. Its perks include the testing of neurological compatibility genes and psychological personality traits. Couples will be tested for four genetic variants linked to emotional response, empathy, risk taking, and adventurous behaviors.

“We are offering different options for testing in different price ranges,” Sara said. “In addition, we work closely with couples if they are experiencing special circumstances, to modify what type of testing they want to suit their situation.”

Looking ahead, the Instant Chemistry team has plans to expand its testing options to include a whole genome sequencing. This will allow customers to explore many aspects of their relationship genetics and get a full picture of who they are as individuals and as a couple.

The Ontario-Based Lab Adapted to the New Normal

In the spring of 2020, the province of Ontario issued lockdown orders that shut down all but essential businesses. As a result, the Instant Chemistry team had to close its lab, store client samples in freezers, and wait for the regulations to be lifted.

“We were able to receive mail, so client samples were not lost. However, we did experience a significant delay while we were shut down,” Sara recalled. “Client’s were wonderfully understanding during this time and were very patient to receive their results.”

Couples can better understand the dynamics at play in their relationship thanks to genetic testing.

The Ontario-based lab has since reopened, but it has done so with many safety precautions. For instance, the staff has implemented modified work hours to minimize the number of people doing work in the lab at the same time. That means employees have had to be flexible to odd shift times and work-from-home assignments. All analysis and reporting work is done from home.

“The pandemic has taught us how to be resilient and how to adapt to difficult circumstances,” Sara said. “I think it has forced us to become more flexible and thereby provide a more personalized experience for our clients.”

While Instant Chemistry navigated lockdowns and social distancing rules, its customer base encountered many relationship challenges that prompted them to search for answers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, couples were put under enormous strain due to financial, health, and personal concerns. New areas of relationship conflict arose as a result of lockdown orders, mask requirements, travel restrictions, and isolated lifestyles.

Instant Chemistry aims to support couples as they go through life’s ups and downs. The DNA testing can yield relationship insights that give couples a greater awareness of the similarities and differences that define their romantic connection.

“For couples, having a good relationship is important in everyday life, but is even more important during a pandemic as we see more extremes in relationships,” Sara said. “Empathy is always a good thing to have when working with clients, but we should — and do — take it to another level during the pandemic.”

Instant Chemistry Lends Insight to the Dating World

Instant Chemistry is not designed to tell couples whether they’re truly meant to be. It’s designed to show them how well they match on a genetic and psychological level, so they can evaluate their strengths and weaknesses as a couple. The compatibility reports can prompt interesting and heartfelt conversations about what it means to be in love and how to build relationship compatibility.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Instant Chemistry has changed its business model slightly to meet the demands of the market. The company’s current offerings meet multiple price points to ensure that relationship knowledge doesn’t come with a financial strain.

Instant Chemistry can provide a wealth of data on genetic compatibility and relationship psychology to help couples grow in love and understanding.

“Using DNA to strengthen your love life is not about perfection,” Sara told us. “It’s about understanding yourself and your partner and using that knowledge to grow together. With that comes a stronger relationship.”
